“In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning… In him was life and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1: 1-2,4)
Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night!
Dear Kathy,
Well this is just a wonderful read…not only informative but enjoyable and very kind to the human spirit. I really like your style and was reading about Christmas Traditions and though I would start a new one by writing to your blog on St. Stephen’s Day…like how often does one find a 3rd cousin? So in the spirit of the season, I am happy to say that 2011 has been a really good year for me, meeting with cousin Denise and having cousin Pol and then your hubby John come on board. I am married to a John also, and we have one son Ross. In my family of origin I am the eldest with, Gabriel, Vivian, Colette, Paul and Raymond following after…mind you I am the smallest in stature….so maybe being the eldest was for a reason!!! I love Christmas, but do think that if one does not have some children around it does not have quite the same magic…I just love to watch there little faces light up in wonder….I feel we are all kids inside..and that we all need to let that kid out once a year…and that time for me is Christmas. So when can you come out to play with Denise and Pol and John and I will ask my hubby John also? Cousin Martina x
