In theory I should be getting a lot done today. I’m well rested after a three day weekend. I have plenty of things I would like to do. But there’s something about spending two hours trying to download a free e-book onto my reader that has left me too frustrated to focus on much.
So Harper and I joined our neighbors on the Maywood Hill. Kelly and I watched as Harper, Ethan, and Madison went careening down the hill that once sent Harper’s mom straight into a tree. As they went soaring over the tractor path and across the field, I had flashbacks to Julie zooming along with her long hat flapping like a windsock behind her.
On our way back inside, we stopped in the yard for some pictures and a snow angel. Then it was time for hot chocolate and marshmallows.
